Social Media Marketing WEB 2.0
Social Media Marketing WEB 2.0 If you have been following the trends of online marketing lately, you will see they lead to one place right now. Social Networking sites. MySpace has about 67 million users. Facebook with 30 million. Classmates, a respectable 13.5 million Most of you are members of at least one of these. Aren't you, why not? If you are trying to make money online, why not go to where the people are? Todays post is going to walk you through the process of setting up these "pseudo ad" pages. We will focus on Myspace for obvious reasons. The process however, will work on Facebook and many of the others. 1. Picking a user name and setting up your profile. Seems easy enough, right? Their is a little bit of a science to it, depending on your tech savvy, it could prove harder than you think. A user name like "I'mhere4$" is probably going to kill your chances of just that. Your name is always the best choice next, a strong uplifting name is recommended. "caringhelper", "successcoach", you get the idea. Picture, yours preferably. Would you rather connect with a person, or a "business card". Try to remember its called MySpace not MyBusinessSpace. Use a slide show or video to describe you, your family, hobbies, etc.*You want people to know who you are, this let them know and will help build trust. Telling them about your varsity letter jacket, or latest achievement is a great way to have people look up to. If you just got nominated for the peace prize, let them know. Let people know what events in your past have made you who you are. Share your business experiences, "I have tried MLM for 10 years and was not satisfied with the results" " I tried numerous ventures that just didn't produce to my satisfaction." Now, without mentioning the Business or product, let them know you have found the solution. *** If you want help to reach you dreams and goals, call me, I will be glad to help.*** You can also add a website or email in case that is not feasible or they don't feel comfortable with calling you. Now that you have your profile setup, you need friends! (if you need some more assistance setting this up , check out this group at Facebook. There are some great videos and such.) 2. Getting friends. This is the second most important step.(its why I made it # 2 ;-)) The low tech time consuming way, is to join groups with people of similar interests. These people will relate to your profile easily. Also, you could join groups of your target market. Search for the groups with the most members, join the groups. read the bulletins, and topics. Post some relevant comments. No banner ads or links. Just post to the subject. If people think your selling, they will avoid you like the plague. Then view all members, start looking for the ones that present themselves well. Click their picture, go to their profile. Look around(you may want to mute your speakers for this one) Find something that is interesting to you, normally under the profile picture is a box with the standard features for contacting the user. These are sometimes pretty fancy, so you may have to look closer to see the "add to friends" link. These pages are very customizable as you will see when you go to them. Click the link, the add friend box will appear, you can add a message. I recommend that highly, it shows you actually took the time(sort of, we will get to that in a minute). Comment on their page or, that you just joined the group they are in and you are looking for like minded people. (hit send) Then wait for them to confirm. Rinse, Repeat. Thats the long way... You could spend hours doing this. maybe you could get 20- 30 an hour if all goes well. How about if you could 350 in a matter a minutes? MySpace has limits for daily friend adds, so you want to be mindful of that. Still, if you add about 25 friends an hour it would take you about 12 hours to reach the daily limits. Or, as I said, you can do it in minutes. Then spend your time on more productive things. For instance, you could interact with them, a crucial part of growing your business. We will get into that in a later post. Ok, ok, what is it, you want to know? Its an automatic Myspace friend adder. Instead of spending 60 hours getting 1200 friends, you could spend a few minutes a day and get 2400 a week or more. So until next time happy adding, and earning. O yea, by the way , almost forgot, If you need a turn key business with video tutorials to walk you through step by step. Use this. It will work like a Ronco Rotisserie, set it and forget. |
